Zora Vidovic, director of the Tax Administration of the Republic of Srpska, participated today in the panel “Fight Against Gray Economy-Importance of Non-Cash Payments”, under two days “Jahorina Economic Forum 2018”, that has been opened today in the hotel Termag in Jahorina.
Participants of the panel, among them directors of the tax administrations in BiH, representatives of Mastercard Office of Serbia Government for fight against gray economy, and Council of Foreign Investors, spoke about efforts that tax administrations in BiH make to reduce volume of gray economy in BiH, steps that already has been taken about that as well as results but assessments of gray economy volume in BiH.
Director Vidovic emphasized that the Tax Administration of the Republic of Srpska previously has taken big steps in the fight against gray economy that has been showed by the achieved results, and after all by record collection of public revenues of the Republic of Srpska. She announced that the Tax Administration of the Republic of Srpska will continue the fight against gray economy that has been present in almost all countries in the world. As she stated, the gray economy is the most present in failure to issue a fiscal bill, transfer between related persons, and unregistering of employees. She added, that the increase of non-cash payment would take to the reduction of the gray economy as well as education of population, from the youngest to the eldest, in order they would realize importance of taxation and the benefits that come from that.
