The IT Sector performs technical duties concerning the following: setting up, maintaining and developing RSTA information system; managing central computer center and centralized databases; ensuring their integrity; working on completeness, availability, security and reliability of RSTA information systems; drafting non-selective and non-standard reports at request of RSTA organizational units; ensuring electronic services for taxpayers; and other duties as stipulated in regulations.

The internal organizational units within the IT Department are as follows:
