The Sector for Determining the Origin of Property and the Special Property Tax performs administrative and other technical duties concerning the following:  preparation of instructions and other acts for the uniform application of the law regulating the determination of the origin of property and special tax, as well as the submission of proposals for their amendments,  for the purpose of fulfilling the basic  function of organizing and implementing the procedure for determining the property and increasing the property of a natural person, his reported income acquired in a certain period, as well as imposing a special tax on increase of assets.

The internal organizational units that are formed within the Sector for Determining the Origin of Property and the Special Property Tax are as follows:

1) Department for Operational Risk and Analytics,

2) Department for Preliminary Procedure, and

3) Department for Control Procedure and Determination of Special Property Tax
