The Director of the Tax Administration of the Republic of Srpska, Goran Maričić, spoke today with the delegation of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), as part of the implementation of the IMF’s Technical Assistance Project aimed at strengthening the capacity of tax administrations.
Namely, the Tax Administration of the Republic of Srpska participates in the IMF project called “Project for providing support to revenue administrations (SECO)” which is implemented in the period January 2023 – April 2026.
Within that project, four areas have been identified and included therein, which are considered to be possible for further improvements in the work, namely: taxpayers risk management compliance, indirect audit methods, tax debt management and international aspects of taxation.
The talking points at the meeting, which was held at the RSTA premises in Banja Luka, included implementation of the said project, as well as the benefits that the Tax Administration of the Republic of Srpska has had so far from the guidance in the area of capacity development provided by the IMF and within the framework of technical assistance.
