Video conferencing equipment donated to the RS Tax Administration as part of the ”Strengthening the Capacities of the Tax Administrations in BiH” Project

The Tax Administration of the Republic of Srpska has received a donation of modern video conferencing equipment as part of the “Strengthening the Capacities of the Tax Administrations in Bosnia and Herzegovina” Project. The project is implemented in cooperation with the Swedish Tax Agency.
The donated equipment has been installed in the Training Room at the Headquarters of the RS Tax Administration in Banja Luka and it will be used by all employees during online workshops, trainings and meetings.
Namely, in the past two years, within the framework of the Project, a series of online workshops have been held due to the epidemiological situation caused by the corona virus pandemic, which is why it was necessary to provide adequate technical conditions for work on the project. The main goal of the Project is to improve the capacity of tax administrations and contribute to the transformation into a modern, reliable and service-oriented tax administrations. The project (launched in 2017) is financed by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency – SIDA and the second phase of the Project is underway, lasting from 2021 to 2024.
The RS Tax Administration would like to thank once again the colleagues from the Swedish Tax Agency for the excellent cooperation in the past period and express the view that we will jointly achieve the Project goals so that the RS Tax Administration becomes recognized as a modern, highly professional and efficient tax administration, in which the taxpayer will have the central place and in which the citizens of the Republic of Srpska will place a high degree of trust.
